I use this to help me with macro photography, including focus follow with insects. With the camera mounted on my tripod, I attached the device to the lens and, with manual focus got the general area of focus correct. I then used the twistable know to get the insect precisely in focus before taking the shot with a remote shutter release. This allows me to make very small focus adjustments before I shoot and means that my contact with the camera is minimal, so everything stays in frame and in focus. It's not something I thought of using in the past, but I am glad I found it, Ill also be using it for closeups of skin and fingertips for a shoot n the future

This is a good quality piece of kit that works well but there’s absolutely no instructions and even the video on here was confusing so I had to venture to YouTube to find more videos to watch. For the price I’d have expected some kind of guide for someone who hasn’t used anything like this before so was really disappointed by that. Once set up though it is simple enough to use and really effective for easier manual focus especially with lots of movement. It’s also good for macro photography and makes refocusing when stacking images much easier. Overall this is a really decent item that works well but if you’re not sure how to use it be prepared to do your own research.

Fantastic product. Works well, looks good, and well-featured. I love everything about the experience of using the product, and solved a lot of the issues I had with the smaller SmallEig Follow Focus F40. The wood knob is a nice touch and adds to the overall aesthetic of the product, and feels nice in the hand to operate. My only issue, however, is that my product came with a few scratches on the parts, and the A/B stops would scrape against the metal casing if not screwed on a certain way, which is rather disappointing. The price, too, isn't bad at all, though it is certainly not cheap. With all the features and accessories it comes with, however, I'd say it's well-worth it.

Der Focus Puller lässt sich durch einen einfachen Mechanismus so einstellen, dass die Fokusbewegung entweder nativ oder invertiert genutzt werden kann. Außerdem kann der Rotationswiderstand individuell angepasst werden, ebenso wie der Fokusbereich. Insgesamt ein absolutes Must-have für jeden Videofilmer, der manuell fokussieren möchte.
