The media could not be loaded. The camera outer shell is mainly plastic bit appear well built. The menu system is adequate and took me sometime to get used to, it is a low cost camera, so I did not expect it to be like a SONY camera. The still images taken in daylight are sharp and clear, colours are natural, the highest resolution is 48mp 8000x6000 but only in 4:3, the wide images 3648x2048 you are down to 7mp and 1920x1080 at 2mp. Overall, the still images are quite satisfactory. The video I tested using the highest resolution 2688x1520, I do not think there is a hand steadying option, so my video has a lot of tiny hand tremor, this is not ideal, the video file produced is in avi format, a bit old fashion, the code for the video is jpeg, never seen that before and audio codec is pcm, some TVs will be unable to play this but they play ok on my desktop. I also converted some video files using a free PC program called Handbrake to AVC for video and AAC for audio, they turned out pretty well. So for video I recommend using a chair or a wall to steady your camera. In conclusion, this is a good camera for the price, it is light to carry for camping trips mountain trekking. BTW this camera take MICRO SD CARDS not the full size one shown by Amazon.

If purchasing this camera you will need to get a memory card as well since it doesn't come with one as with many other of the similar cameras. However, once you have the memory card, then there is plenty you can do with this camera. It's side and weight make it a perfect travelling companion not just for kids but for anyone. Rather than filling up a phone memory with lots of pictures and video, it's so much easier to capture all the memories on the memory card and then transfer to your computer or digital photo frame. The package includes a lovely metallic look case, strap, two batteries, charging cable and even an adaptor for the charging cable if needed. When you switch on you get a 'welcome' and then you know you're ready to go. With 1080p video and 16x zoom, you can't really go wrong. The camera has many other features too, like smile detection and have detection, a high 48MP resolution, anti shake, timer, creative filters etc. The list goes on. It's great to have the extra battery while travelling in case you can't charge it up while travelling or if it runs out in the middle of an event or trip. The menu is easy to use and the buttons are clearly marked so you know what you are doing. There is also a'goodbye' note when you turn the camera off, so you know it won't be left on by mistake. Overall a decent camera for a decent price and an ideal gift for pretty much any age.

I decided to get this camera for my 8 year old daughter. I wanted something that was nice and had high-quality images, but not too expensive that if she lost it or damaged it, I would be frustrated. I really love photography and have been taking photos since high school. But I won’t let her touch my SLR camera. So I thought this would be a fun way for her and I to go out and take pictures together. And she could have the freedom to do her own creative photographs. This camera is such a great option. It has video and images. It comes with so many things. Charger and a USB-C adapter. The 32 GB mini. A wrist strap and a neck strap. Which is a huge bonus. I’ve never actually seen a neck strap before. I love this, especially for my kid. The wrist strap was a little hard to connect, and I had to use a safety pin. But the next strap, I just connected it on with the same place and it was easy. Comes with a cleaning towel and Two batteries. And a little bag to carry everything. I’m super impressed with this. The camera settings are expansive. So I definitely recommend reading through the user manual, but I was able to figure it out on my own. So it wasn’t too hard. The camera quality is actually pretty darn good. I took a couple test shots just to see, and I am very pleased. I have it set 48 megapixels. The camera itself is quite small and lightweight. Making it really easy to travel with. It can go anywhere. It can definitely fit in a small purse. I’m really into the color. I chose pink because my daughter loves pink. I’m super excited to give this to her. I’m really happy with this purchase.

It’s crazy to think that our children and children’s children won’t have a stash of photo albums like we did. I’ve asked my family and friends what would we do if we didn’t have our phones ?
