This is marketed as a photography background hanging setup but I've used it for a couple of other purposes so far as well, yes it works as intended and holds whatever backdrop you want fairly firmly so it works as intended, I've also used it as a way to hang a protective sheet for spray painting larger items in my workshop, the individual stands are also useful for mounting LED lights to flood an area with elevated light which is also useful for painting. When used with all 4 cross poles there is a little bit of sag in the middle depending how heavy the item being hung from it is but at full height it's not really noticeable lower down, the legs are quite stable when deployed at a flat angle so shouldn't tip over easily. Everything packs down into a 3 section bag which holds everything for carrying, it feels a little thin and flimsy so will see how long it lasts but so far it's not a bad setup, price is representative of the overall quality, nothing special but it does the job.
