Used this item as part of our outside light display during the Christmas holidays - purpose was to display star lights on the outside of our house. Simple to set up and very easy to use. The remote is handy to have for changing display features. There are 2 different light effects - a blue light effect which drifts like clouds or mist, and fireflies which dance around, blending in and out of patterns. The animation speed can be decreased to standstill or increased. There's also a flashing effect. The projector emits with a very wide angle - from one corner of a room, you can light the entire room. These lights are easy to use and set up. Outdoors and indoors. Only wish that there were more light patterns to use.

The media could not be loaded. The projector arrives in a box that for once is large enough to easily fit everything back into. The box includes the projector and a choice of stands - either a spike for using in soft ground, or a round plastic base for mounting on a flat surface. You also get a security wire to prevent theft and/or to prevent the projector falling if mounted high up, a very long power lead and a remote control. The remote control arrived non-functioning, the batteries were flat. You need a small phillips screwdriver to access the battery compartment, but replacing the batteries got everything working. There are 2 different light effects - a blue light effect which drifts like clouds or mist, and fireflies which dance around, blending in and out of patterns. The animation speed can be decreased to standstill or increased. There's also a flashing effect.The projector emits with a very wide angle - from one corner of a room, you can light the entire room. Used indoors, this is remarkably atmospheric. The blue light alone is enough to transform a dark room into a moody/dreamy atmosphere that is very meditative and the fireflies are mesmerising. You can watch them for ages, following a single light from one corner of the room to the opposite. It's a perfect light show for young children, and old ones!
